IndexNow enables sites to submit updated content directly to search engines and have the content immediately crawled. This means search engines can update their index and search results with the freshest content straight away.

How does it work?

When you publish or update your website or a particular webpage, Avanty will automatically submit it to all the major search engines which support IndexNow. This will trigger a crawl from these search engines to update the content in their index, to show it faster to searchers. 

Avanty handles all the tasks of supporting the IndexNow API, including: 

• Discovering which pages have updated content and submitting only those to the IndexNow API.
• Fulfilling IndexNow security measures by generating a unique token per website and submitting that to search engines. 
• Automatically submitting updated content on your website.

The best part is you don't have to lift a finger

You don’t need to do anything at all to take advantage of this improvement. It’s automatic. And as always, if you don’t want your context indexed by search engines, you can turn off indexing in the page settings of each page.
