What is Ampify (AMP)?

AMP is a software that maximises your Core Web Vitals score, providing better SEO and at least a 30% increase in search traffic. AMP pages receive an ‘accelerated page’ badge in Google’s search results, are allowed in the top stories carousel, and are pre-loaded from Google’s fast CDN servers by default — leading to instant load times.

This app is your chance to increase mobile traffic, as we all know web traffic from mobile devices is on an increase (60% of web-traffic comes from mobiles — up around 5% from 2019). Google noticed this shift in behaviour early on and created the Accelerated Mobile Pages framework for websites to optimise the mobile experience and increase performance.

To incentivise websites to become mobile-friendly, Google now prioritises pages based on two factors: their mobile experience and page speed. More recently, Google rolled out Core Web Vitals, an evaluation method which penalises websites that do not offer superb mobile user experience. So with AMP, pages are inherently mobile-optimised, so they rank higher in Google’s search results.

Ampify is officially recognised by Google for its unique solution which creates and maintains an AMP version that is near-identical to the HTML version. 

What happens when I add AMP to my website?
